Secretary In Training

I love me some little boy cuteness. Dee is"writing" on his own a lot lately and practicing holding pens behind his ear on the sly. Mommy doesn't say a word. I don't think he knows I saw.

The Cast

Carlie---That's me!
A--- My adventure loving, ever-learning, cleverly geeky, husband.
Ru---Our eldest son, 14 yrs old and a connoisseur of quick-footed wit.
Dee---Number two son, 12 yrs. old, our particular "engineer."
Nib---Third in line, 10 yrs. old, our spunky, stewing scientist.
Pom---Boy number four, 8 yrs. old, plucky, perpetual performer

Big Grandma & Big Grandpa---My own good parents.
Nana & Grandpa Alan---My lovely in-law parents.
Jane and Megaman--- A's writerly sister and her gentle, Star Wars groupie-man.
Miq and Penny---A's 2nd brother and wife who live a wildly romantic life together abroad.
Noj and Gigi---A's 3rd brother and his wife, genius scholars.
Foxy and Sarge ---My 2nd sister, and her rough edged man. They are ex-fire-fighters, goat wranglers, coffee swillers and can-do troubleshooters.
Doubleddog and Lurch---My 3rd sister and her husband, lovers of pop culture, the absurd and homesteading also ace parents of 2,000,000 little girls.
Lockbox and Flash---4th sister and her man, both analytical and artistic at once. So much New England.
Song and Jack---5th sister and her guy, lovers of quiet, creating art, making music and wry, ironic humor.
Stew and Bobbin---My only brother and his wife, book nerds deluxe, world travelers and champion quiet day at home competitors for coziness.
