I am sure thinking about the merits of skipping baseball and have thought about maybe trying basketball instead too....in addition to the suggestion of considering soccer. Though I will probably bring down the "wrath" of baseball moms/dads everywhere, here are my own experiences as a Nana of a very energetic grandson who started playing baseball very young. I went to all his games, which often ran 3-5 hrs because there were very extended pitch/strike counts. Understand, I enjoy baseball, but IMO young energetic boys do not enjoy standing still in the field waiting for any hit to be made, and they also do not enjoy spending half their game warming the bench. Obviously, it was their parents' chiice, but I always felt - and still feel - SOCCER IS BEST for such energetic, exuberant boys/girls. It's a real team sport, with most if not all kids getting lots of time to run and expend lots of energy, to interact (and build their lungs and bodies) with each other.

As for your thoughts about being "lazy" or sometimes neglecting to do life things, you are one of the most incredible moms I know. You (and Aaron) have 4 healthy and happy boys to whom you have been able to introduce so many amazing experiences our God has provided for us to enjoy in our incredible world.

Keep on twinkling along, my dear. We all delight in you, as does our God!

Love you much.♀️Sandra Gearhartnoreply@blogger.com
